The symposium will be held in Trzebnica, a small town located within 20 km from Wrocław (the largest city in western Poland and the capital of Lower Silesia). Trzebnica itself was first mentioned in an 1138 deed and in 202 Duke Henry I the Bearded of Silesia and his wife Hedwig of Andechs (St. Jadwiga) founded a Cistercian convent, the first in Poland. This historic monastery complex is of an exceptional architectural, artistic and historical value and stands about attractiveness of Trzebnica.
